Snow Finel

Snow Finel

It’s that time of year again when the winter clothes come in all their glory.

Last week we had a chance to gasp, ooh and aah at Snow Finel’s newest collection.

Snow Finel are one of our oldest clients who have been with us almost from day one. We love their cothes, well made, but mostly we love the splashes of colour that draw the eye. Neon elbow patches or bright trims break up the functional suave simple colours.

St Piece

Intricate patterns aligned with intense, even opulent, colours set St Piece apart.

St Piece are a London based design studio specialising in luxury silk scarves and accessories for men and women. Founded in 2013 St Piece designs in their London studio before sending off to be printed and individually hand-rolled in Cheshire.

Their goal is to create ‘beautiful painting on luxury canvases of silk and cashmere’. And we might suggest they succeed.

Oxford Shirts

Oxford Shirts started over 30 years ago and has gone from strength to strength over the years, gradually evolving from knitwear into having full collections of Men’s, Ladie’s, and Children’s wear. Based in the picturesque market town of Burford in the Cotswolds their first shop has expanded over the years. They now have a space of 8 shop frontages, all sympathetically designed to incorporate the buildings heritage and character.

Their clothes are high quality designer fashion wear. They recently sent on a selection of men’s shirts for us to shoot. Their shirts come a variety of colours and designs, from the more ‘out-there’ designs to simple or bold block colours.

The brief for their shirt was detail and flat lay shots of the shirts requiring a careful and very precise uniformity to the imagery. This would regularly require a large amount of post-production, resizing, cropping, and using an overlay feature to perfectly replicate the imagery.

Our machines, with set lighting, and a handy overly feature allow us to style and shoot the shirts in precisely the same way on our flatbed Styleshoot machine quicky and efficiently every time, removing the need for extensive post-production. This uniformity allows for a neat display of the product both online and in print that shows clearly the difference in each shirts colour and print.

All our images go through a rigorous quality control process, which sometimes entails tweaking or even re-shooting of products to ensure the highest standards.

Rhino make some of the finest clothing for all sports, including rugby, football, hockey, lacrosse, netball, basketball and volleyball. Whether you play the cold and rain or the heat and sun, their clothing is high quality, high clothing that works in tandem with your body.

We’ve been shooting Rhino gear for a while now. The obvious quality of the materials and make, makes it easy to shoot.

What they needed was a simple, cost efficient solution to getting their products shot. Ushoot Studio then seems like a no brainer.

Rhino is currently the official supplier to England Rugby, The Welsh Rugby Union, Bath, London Wasps, Cardiff Blues, St Helens Rugby League and The British & Irish Lions.

We look forward to the next batch they send in.

Bonsoir of London

Bonsoir of London came to us the other week with an Emergency. They needed their range of luxury nightwear to be shot, and they needed it now!

They were established in 1926, an era that celebrated the cocktail pyjama, where fashionable hosts entertained guests in their luxury loungewear, and they’ve been going strong ever since.

Bonsoir celebrates this timeless elegance, offering stylish designs carefully tailored to the highest standard using the finest quality fabrics, to ensure durability and exceptional comfort.

Their philosophy is one of exceptional quality, style and comfort.
When coming to capture these garments and properly expose them as the high end products they are, it takes a high quality of photography. So when they found us at Ushoot they were quite pleased.

170 items to be shot, using our new ModelShoot service as well as our product photography, and all in three to four days.
The gauntlet was laid down and we bent to pick it up.

We quickly discovered the difficulties of shooting these garments. Brushed cotton and silk creased quickly and easily meaning constant re-ironing. Plus capturing the garments in a manner that really showed the quality of the materials and the tailoring created new hardships.

We persevered, and our obstinence in the face of impending frustration was rewarded with done.

Elephants and Beards: Love ‘Love Brand & Co’

We had Oliver from Love Brand & Co. come in with some of their new range.

Love Brand Co. are one of our earliest customers and we love them, they’re passion for Elephants and their exellent products. We particularly enjoyed the fullness of Oliver’s beard on his most recent visit, Dan had to restrain himself from touching it…

Love Brand & Co was founded by Oliver and Rose.

It was Oliver’s entrepreneurial spirit and design background and Rose’s heritage and knowledge of the Tropics, that led them to start a new swimwear label. Their Ethos was primarily to help save elephants from extinction in the wild. A concept they coined ‘Trunks for Trunks’. This was them expanded to include a variety of other charities that help endangered species.

The actual clothing encompasses with effortless ease the colours and spirit of summer.

Bright colours with sleek design paired with their passion and Ethos make this brand truly stand out.

A busy bustling week

We have had plenty to do over the last week!

A veritable horde of Menswear and Childrenswear brands to shoot.
For the highly anticipated online launch of Styleworx they needed product photography fast, and we were the solution.

Styleworx is a menswear brand which focuses on sleek design, and well imagined practical style.

We powered through the shoot but there was no time to rest at the end.

This was followed by 250 pieces of really fantastic, high end childrenswear!

From brands like Moschino, Versace, Stone Island, and Moncler.

No small task then! So we enlisted the iron will of iron wielding Anya, doing work experience with us over the Summer holidays to help us make our way through the mounds of unpacking, ironing and shooting of such a vast number of childrenswear items.

Tartan tastic at Ushoot Studios

The last few weeks have been a rather gloriously Scottish affair at Ushoot. For a number of days we have been enveloped in a magnificent amount of Tartan courtesy of the lovely people at Scotland Shop.img-studio-news

The ScotlandShop collection is inspired and influenced by the multitude of colour to be found in their Scottish tartans, steeped in history yet still a fundamental part of the fashion industry.

They are based in the beautiful Scottish Borders and were founded in 2002 by Anna White, offering an extensive and diverse array of all things Scottish offering truly international products and services in 5 languages.

We absolutely loved working on such interesting and beautifully made product and look forward to being enveloped in more tartan from Scotand Shop soon

Fabric Gateaux come to Ushoot Studios

Last week was a week of colour in the studio. We had the lovely Karina from Fabric Gateaux and some wonderfully vibrant pieces came with her

We are often asked about colour and how well the machines produce true to life colour. I suppose the best answer for this is that we virtually never have to colour correct to that extent although nothing is ever perfect, Styleshoots have come pretty close
